Arm is negative through a 1.5k (1500) ohm resistor. ATTENTION- Some of these vehicles fall under a campaign program though the manufacturer to upgrade the computer system when the vehicle is serviced at the dealer. After the upgrade is complete the vehicle may not remote start. The solution is to add the second start wire as per the 2002+ Chrysler Mini-Vans. Unfortunately, feedback from installers indicates it is not possible to add the second start wire prior to the computer upgrade procedure as unexpected vehicle behavior may result. If the upgrade has been performed connection of the second start wire is required. See Note #162 |
