I have a problem with the font right door window. The window wont go up or down when i push the botton. I need to know how to take apart the door first before i can go inside and see what the problem is. Does anyone know how to take apart the door of a 1998 mercury grand marquis?

I suspect you have a bad window regulator. I think there is a couple of screws on the lower part of the door panel it is hidden by the carpet, there is also screws in the door handle and the rest of the panel has push pins and you just pull the panel off. I hope this helps
