I need to hook up a tach in a 1999 Ford Ranger 2wd 2.5L 4 cylinder-i know about the ground, the lights connections and the 12volt connection, but i need to know what and where the ignition coil is that i'm supposed to tie the green wire into! thanks

  TACHOMETER----------tan/white ---------

The ignition coil is located near the center of the motor on all models.
