Wow, glad I found this site, hoping someone can help me with installing an alarm.

First, the vehicle is a 94 T-Bird LX with power everything and I have the wiring schematics for it.

Second, it was equipped with a Sherwood model S-300R, which works ?, but no remote, and can't locate one for it since it is OLD.

Third, I pulled a used Python Model 1000 CODE PLUS from a wrecked vehicle, it works, was tested prior to removal, have two 2 button remotes, one needs battery, light is very dim.

I've never installed a alarm and would like to know if anyone has the installation/owners manual for this alarm? Three local DEI authorized installers can't help, one was the company that installed it in the wrecked vehicle (found the receipt in glovebox). I'm on a tight budget, plus I am restoring this car and replacement parts aren't cheap. LOL!

Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Vulcan

PYTHON IS ACTUALLY MADE BY VIPER, SO THAT MIGHT HELP YOU FIND THE INSTALLATION MANUAL.  YOU CAN ALSO CHECK THEIR WEBSITE.

belto, thanks for the reply.

Python. Viper, and a few others are manufactored by DEI, at least that is what their web site says.I found the DEI customer assistance phone number and they won't give the manual out to the end user, basically they said take it to a installer and pay to get it installed. I may end up having to buy a system with the installation/owners manual included, but rest assured it will NOT be any system from DEI.
