Iam trying to install a remote start/alarm on a 2004 GMC sierra. I need to get the wiring diagram. Could somebody provide some help locating the diagram as well as providing any tips. First time doing remote stater. I've done an alarm before. Thanks

NOTES:
UPDATE: TAILGATE LOCKING SYSTEM:
GM Full-size trucks from 2003 and up have a Multiplex Door Locking System, this means the MOTOR wires WILL NOT be accessible in the interior kick panels. When installing a TAILGATE LOCK, the motor wires can only be found INSIDE the DRIVERS or PASSENGERS door at the motor.
*1 - The BCM is located behind the drivers side of the dash. It has (6) plugs on the BCM with the PURPLE plug on the back.
*2 - On BASE model trucks the door trigger wires are in the LIGHT BLUE plug at BCM, pins B4 Drivers door and A5 Passengers door. On 4 door trucks the Left Rear door trigger wire is LIGHT BLUE/BLACK, pin A3, the Right Rear door is LIGHT GREEN/ BLACK, pin A2. They are in the PURPLE plug at the BCM. Use all wires and diode isolate.
*3 - On BASE model trucks the lock wire is LIGHT BLUE ( - ) and the unlock wire is WHITE ( - ). They are in the LIGHT BLUE plug at the BCM.
*4 - The PCM (Power Control Module) is in the left front of the engine compartment to the left of the fan shroud. The tach wire is in the GREEN plug, pin 10. For tach you can also go to any of the ignition coils and use the wire that is NOT PINK, BLACK or BROWN. Wait-to-Start wire is BLUE in instrument cluster or PCM.
Thanks for the quick responce. I checked all wiring readings with a digital meter. On white wire from Ignition switch harness ad found out that the reading for ing 2 is actually orange wire wich has a 12+ at ON/RUN and 12+ at start. The question is if it should be used for Ignition switch harness instead of white wire wich has 12+ at Acc, 12 + at ON/RUN and 12+ at start. Another question is if this vehicle has the parking lights are ground swithched or a +12 volt swithched.
Thanks,
JG
lights are negative....white needs to be powered as an ignition....and orange as accessory. Most wiring charts say the brown wire must also be connected as a second accessory, but I have found it is usually not needed.
Sorry for the confusion I guess I clicked the mouse I typed somewhere else. Here is the right wording...

You can keep asking the question over and over but the answer is still the same. I already answered you a couple posts up. You are either metering something wrong, your meter reacts too slow to changes, or you don't understand the difference between ignition and accessory.
