Can anyone help me find a good wiring diagram for both a 2000 and 2002 Monte Carlo SS? My car was stolen 4 months ago and they cut the Onstar Module and the Stereo amp out of the trunk and took the rear view mirror with the connector and 5 inches of harness. We have a wiring harness form a 2000 Monte but need color coded wiring diagrams to put the new mirror and amp in. I currently have no interior lights or radio and the check engine light stays on alternating with bogus error messages (ie. low tire pressure). Wow what a mess. On top of it all I think the

The dealer was no help what-so-ever and I cannot find anything online.

NOTE *    The ignition harness is located far to the right of the steering column, behind the ignition switch.

NOTE **   This wire must be powered as an accessory wire. If powered as a 2nd ignition the car will not crank.

NOTE ***    The BCM (Body Control Module) is located above the brake pedal. It is a plastic box with three plugs that face the firewall. You must diode isolate this wire from the BCM when doing remote start to avoid the service engine soon light.

NOTE ****    The driver door trigger is BLUE (-). The BLUE/WHITE (-) will catch the passenger door. Use both wires and diode isolate both.

NOTE *****      Lock requires a (-) Negative trigger thru a 480 ohm resistor. Unlock requires a straight (-) Negative trigger. Must use relays if the unit does not have on-board relays built in.

NOTE ******   Horn can also be found at a BLACK plug with a BLUE insert above the gas pedal.

Starter yellow    +   ignition harness
Notes: The ignition harness is located far right of the steering column, behind the ignition switch.
Second Starter
Ignition pink    +   ignition harness
Notes: The ignition harness is located far right of the steering column, behind the ignition switch.
Second Ignition green    +   ignition harness
Notes: The ignition harness is located far right of the steering column, behind the ignition switch.
Third Ignition
Accessory orange    +   ignition harness
Notes: The ignition harness is located far right of the steering column, behind the ignition switch.

Notes: This wire must be powered as an accessory wire. If powered as an 2nd ignition the car will not crank.

Notes: Lock and unlock use the same wire. Lock requires a negative trigger with a 470 ohm resistor in-line. Unlock is negative trigger. Must use relays.

Notes: Installation of factory keyless upgrade alarm is not recommended on this vehicle because the door lock motor wires rest at approximately 7 volts.
