On an alarm with a positive output for flashing parking lights, how do i correctly wire in the resistor into this application.  Do I use a relay and if so how is it wired?  Which resistor value is the correct one 1.4 K-Ohm or 340 Ohm?  Help!

Hey Jon, what he is referring to is the (-) parking light activation of the 2002 RAM trucks. The trucks can use either the (+) or the (-) trigger for the parking lights/head lights. (-)Parking lights require a negative trigger thru a 330 or 1.4K ohm resistor. Headlights require a negative trigger thru a 1.8K ohm resistor. There is a rest resistance on the wire, so MUST use a relay to isolate away from the switch.
