I cannot find the tach wire on my '99 Altima. Is anyone personally familiar with this vehicle who could tell me exactly where to get at it? I tried the BLACK/ white at the distributor and a GREEN/ orange at the ECM both with no luck. Thank you.

It's the WHITE/ BLACK at the 6 pin molex connector at the distributor.

Does it ever make it to the ECM or somewhere inside the firewall?

Probably does, but not anywhere accessible.
