Hi all,
My sister bought an Audiobahn 10" Amplified bass tube. We are putting this in 2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse with the infinity sound system. We are not changing the head unit and need to know where to connect the hi-lo adapter and the remote turn on. Any wiring advice or color code will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Bret

By hi-lo adapter I'm assuming that you mean line out converter. Tap into the rear speakers for the converter. You should have 6 wires on the converter, a white, a white with a black stripe, a grey, a grey with a black stripe, and two browns. The whites go to the driver's side, assuming that you know which factory wire is positive and which is negative. Worst case... unplug the factory deck, meter each wire until you have 8 remaining wires that never recieve 12+, then apply voltage to them (9 volt battery) until you isolate the 2 rear speakers. Then you can hook up the LOC and stash it behind the deck, and run your RCA's back to the trunk. Remote wire will tie into any switched accesory in the car, just make sure it doesn't stay on during start or turn off when headlights turn on. Use this wiring chart as a guide. Tie your remote wire in with your accesory wire, and run it down the opposite side of the car as you ran your RCA's.
