easy way to remove radio??? Remove shifter trim and pull out on heater / radio trim  unbolt radio and pull out.  May need to cut some of the plastic to get access to the ignition wires....

I like to unplug them from the switch and pull them out of the dash for easy access.

The door locks are connected totally different than the door locks....door locks require wiring in relays and resistors 1/4 watt resistors will work fine and the door triggers are just diode isolated....3 amp diode works well...

Does anyone know the purpose of the door trigger?

some units require that the door pin/trigger input wires be connected to the vehicle for programming purposes...

Or if the unit is an alarm ...the alarm needs to know when the doors are opened to sound the alarm...

If your connecting a rattler keyless entry only, then you don't need to connect door trigger wires...however if its a full alarm keyless then yes you do need to connect them.

If its a keyless remote start then no you do not need to connect them....

If your unit has door trigger inputs then more than likely its a full alarm, and you will need to connect the appropriate door pin wires to the unit.
