I have an ultra start 4500 and want to hook the 4ht channel up to the defroster of a 2002 Buick Century. THe 4th channel can either be a pulse or a latched output. DOes anybody know what wire the defrost is and/or how to hook this up. The timing circuit for the defroster I beleive is built into the hvac controller interface.

did you try looking at the leads coming out of the circuitry around where the button/switch for your defroster is located?
