Looking for the color codes for the radio plug on a 2002 cavalier with the premium sound system. Diagrams show a yellow wire for the switched 12v but there is no yellow wire. I am looking for 12v to trigger my amp.

you need a tester . and a spare batt to pop speakers.

And dont waste your time looking for the accessory wire into radio plug....

Go directly under steering column housing look for a brown wire. fuse properly .
