I installed a viper 160XV and I am having a problem with connecting the door locks.  There is a relay with 5 wire coming out of it, specifically or the door locks. One is #87, two are #87a for the lock and unlock, and two are #30, one for lock and the other for unlock.

i have found the two wires GREEN/ red and blue/white that controla these functions but, i think that they have 12 volts running through them already, so when i press unlock/lock on the remote start, and gives it 12 volt.  SO they dont do anything.  The locks work on their own, even though these wires are cut? How do I wire this up?

All help welcome. Thank you

and it works! but, if i lock the doors with the interior lock switch and then try and unlock it with the remote it will not unlock.

But, if i press lock on the remote, and then unlock on the remote it does work.

All help apprecited.
