I am having trouble locating the passlock wires on my 2002 GMC sonoma. I have the 2000 wiring diagram. It says there is an orange sheething  with 2 wires inside. I found a Yellow sheething, (with a white, and a grey wire) but that looks like it goes to the air bag. There is a thick orange wire, but it doesn't look like a sheething.  So my problem is the truck turns over form the remote start then immediately shuts back down then tries to start again. I have the bypass module with the switches to match the key resistence I jiust connot find the wires to connect it to.

Am I missing something right in front of me???

The wires are very thin and they run down from the ignition cylinder. It may also be in a black plastic sheathing.

the 2 wires you need are ORANGE / black and yellow both 24 ga wires . then follow the diagram with your bypass module. and these wire run with the ignition harness they are not inside a tube anymore that was the old vats system.

Thank you both for your input. I will look for those wires.

How will the remote-start act if this is not wired up?? It Turns over then just stops then tries 2 more times then times out. The diag code translates to low voltage feedback. I hooked up the tach and programmed tachmode, it cranks longer but with the same outcome.

Yup, that's what the system will do if the antitheft is not properly disabled.

Hey securinu nice call on the wiring colors that did the trick. It starts now and all is fine except the ACC does not come on. No blower, no defrost etc. There is a thick brown wire, and a thick orange wire left that both come 12V+   in run only. When I hook up ACC from the module to either of these I still get nothing. There is something on the module called ACC pulse ( a thin brown wire) do I need this, and if so what do I hook it up to??

Thanks again to a great site, and Great people

Most likely the thin brown wire will need to be hooked up with a relay to the Orange wire on the truck and supply it with 12v while running on remote start.  Usually the remote start will have an accessory output for this.  What connections do you have now?
