ok all you 12v junkies...heres my prob....i have an 02 passat.im putting in power wiring for an amp.my issue,the battery is located in th rear of the engine compartment,near the windsheild...dose anyone have recomendations on where to drill through to pass some 8GA through?

try just punching a hole in any of the grommets coming through the firewall.
