Hi

I installed an alarm on my 2004 Monte Carlo, and I'm having a hard time finding a door trigger. I tried to use the light under the dash the White wire, but after the alarm is armed for 10 minutes the alarm will go off.

try putting a diode or relay to active your door trigger wire.  Tech data says that its seperate door trigger wires at the BCM and that you should diode isolate to prevent falsing.  Perhaps this is like the Ford Trucks where the BCM sends pulses on the wires every once in  a while and causes the alarm to false.

I would try to wire a relay to the under dash light and then send the output of the relay to the alarm.
