Heres a bumb question.  My 05 Tacoma has the coded key where you cant start the truck unless you have the matching coded key.   Theres a flashing light on the dash when the key is removed.    I usually dont go out to my truck at night ,until this week, so I had not noticed the dash light flashing.  The manual says it flashes to let you know that the systen is activated.   Does this light flash, always ????  Its does go out when the key is inserted in the ignition switch.... Sound OK ?

that is your imobilizer indicator . it always flashes when the key is removed
