i have a 2000 lexus gs 300, its a four door, w/out navigation and it came with the factory pioneer stereo.........does anyone have a wire color chart that tells me what wire is for what on the two wire harnesses that go to the radio......im trying to install a dvd player........also does anyone know how to "by pass" the amp.........does anyone know if i can keep the subwoofer.....any help is greatly appreciated

Here is the stereo wiring diagram for your vehicle.

In regards to bypassing the factory amplifier, if you want to keep the subwoofer, there is a simple remedy for that, just connect the amplifier remote turn on lead on the aftermarket harness to the one on your HU harness, and this will allow you to retain the factory amp and sub.

Do not cut the two wire harnesses that go into the back of the factory HU, go to your local stereo shop and get an aftermarket harness to complete your install.
