I just bought an '88 Cherokee Laredo that I'll be putting a deck, speakers, amp, and subs in next week. Someone said it may have a premium (Bose or similar) sound system and that I would need to bypass the stock amps if it does. Does anyone know about that year Cherokee and if it does have a premium stock sound system, and if so, how simple is it to bypass the factory amps?

1988 is pretty old, I doubt there is one. If there is one they are ususally place in the back seats.
