Help!

I'm getting my butt kicked pretty good right now. I am installing a remote starter that integrates with the OEM alarm and keyless entry.

I'm having a hell of a time locating the door lock wire. Every wiring diagram I've seen says it's a BLACK/ blue wire in a light green 20-pin connector located in the passenger fuse panel. This wire is supposed to send a negative pulse to activate the remote starter.

Everything else is hooked up and working fine. I know this because when I touch the wire from the remote starter that is suppose to connect to the door lock wire to ground the car starts.

Does anyone know exactly where I can find this wire?

The wire will be coming from the door boot into the car. what you may need to do is partially remove the rubber boot and wiggle the wires from the boot to find them inside the passenger kick panel. It will be there.....just have to be patient.

Thanks Jeff!

Now here’s my dilemma

What I am trying to do is activate the remote starter when I push my OEM remote transmitter lock button twice within a 5 sec period (a double negative pulse).  The double pulse will be set up when I program the remote starter, of course after I find a wire that will do this.  I was told by Omega that the door lock wire (BLACK/ blue) would be used for this.  However, I only get a negative pulse when I actually turn the key cylinder.  What good is that? None, right?

Do you know of another wire what will supply a negative pulse when I hit the OEM remote transmitter lock button?

I found what I was looking for.  I had to deviate from the instructions a little though.  What I did was find the lock trigger off of the OEM keyless entry unit.  Works like a champ now.

Thanks!
