I'm installing a Python 881XP in my 2004 Chevy Tahoe and have some issues. Can anybody help?
Where do I find the door trigger wires, and how do I tap into them? I have seen different sources say I have to use diodes, and I have to use all four wires. I do have the 457GW interface installed... Do I still have to tap into the door trigger wires? I talked to a tech at Circuit City (and of what he would tell me- he was really stingy) He told me that I would STILL HAVE TO TAP into those door trigger wires or it wouldn't work properly. Is that true?
Also, How do I tap into the Dome supervision wire? Do I need to buy a dome supervision relay? Or is this wire even necessary? How do I wire the relay if I need one?

The end of the road is always moving ahead!
You'll have to tap into all four door trigger wires and use diodes - they should all be found at the BCM which if I remember right is behind the lower driver's side dash on that truck. I haven't worked with a 457GW, but unless it has a door trigger output wire to go to your alarm, you'll still need the door trigger wires so the 881XP knows when a door's opened.
Dome supervision on this vehicle can be hooked directly to any door trigger wire, since those wires don't power the lights directly.
