im trying to adapt a 96 cavalier keyless entry to my 88 chevy p/u. i was wondering where i could find a wiring diagram for the keyless module? thanks for any help in advance.

sound like WAY TOO much work....whats a keyless entry piece cost, 30.00$ and simple install. I respect your desire to do something out O the ordinary.....but time is money, are you sure you want to do this? -------------

yes because the cavy is sitting in my driveway with a blown motor so i have access to anything i need. and it won't cost me a penny either.

just one more question. once i hook this up in my truck am i gonna have to reprogram the remote or will i be fine?

i couldnt answer that but i do believe so i have never incontered this system. im sure someone has and will help.or you can call gm and talk to service or parts and they should be able to help.
