customer states he has been repeatedly told that he needs the relocation harness (such as 00-02 malibu impala)for retaining vehicle info......i told him and think im right all he needs is the gmrc-01 for retaining the door chime..who is right..any help would be great

Customer is always right. If he thinks he know more than you go his way. You don't want to be blame. Don't sell yourself short on the work either.

I have been using the GMRC-01 for a while now. I have not encounter any problem. I am very happy with it since it requires a lot less work.
