Hi
I need to identify/locate in the dashboard (or nearby) the following wires to install Pioneer AVIC N1 in my Acura Integra 1992: speed signal (most important!), reversegear signal input (reversing lamp I guess – is any chance I could find the wire in dashboard?), parking brake (in dashboard). Many thanks, Sergey

Speed signal is under the hood at the tach wire (white). You gotta run a wire thru the firewall and tap into it.

Reverse gear signal is at the shifter. If its a 5 speed just take out the console and tap the wire at the switch. If automatic-ask someone else (a girl maybe lol jus kiddin.) I never had an automatic.

Pkng brake is at the parking brake. With the center console off (while tapping the R gear) locate and tap the only wire that comes from the p brake.

Good luck.

Many thanks.
My Acura is 5 speeds, never had automatic. I am little bit confused about “speed wire”: on the Pioneer installation diagram this wire goes to computer (car’s) box (so, it looks like wire does exist). Are you talking about wire we used to measure engine’s RPMs? Thanks for your help, Sergey
