Hi
I need to locate vehicle speed sensor (VSS) wire to use it with Pioneer AVIC N1 GPS. In installation manual to AVIC it says to use “speed wire”. I called ACURA, they don’t know such wire. Somebody on this forum suggest to use tachometer wire. In AVIC’s installation manual “speed wire” shows as coming to computer. So, there is only wire, which have deal with speed and connected to computer: VSS wire. Please, he-e-e-e-l-p!!! I need to find this wire in dashboard (not at VSS). Any comments on AVIC installation would be greatly appreciated. Any opinion on tachometer wire? Thanks, Sergey

The VSS wire for the 1992 is YELLOW/RED and can be found at the harness leading into the instrument cluster.
