03 toyota highlander keysense wire

please, help me with the keysense wire for this vehicle. it a 2003 toyota highlander. there is a keysense wire (RED). i wonder with wire for the remote starter is connect to this wire. or is this from the bypass transponder. please help, thank you

Johnny i'm not quite sure what your question even is. Yes the keysense is red after the plug, and should be connected to the ground out when remote started wire. The transponder should be connected there too and diode isolated....

Thanks for help, on the wire diagram for this car said use the keysense wire to disarm the factory alarm, so i just get the (-) negative wire disarm alarm from the remote starter unit connect to the keysense wire? i got the 555U bypass transponder, there is a keysense wire (yellow) in this bypass transponder, so i just connect this wire into the keysense wire? you said it require diode isolated how can i do this? is this require a 1amp diode? hope you reply. thank you very much for your help. god bless you

Nope, that won't work. A "negative disarm the alarm" wire will only pulse a negative before the start. You need a wire that supplys negative the entire time the remote start is on. The 555U requires the same. If your remote start has a keysense wire hookup, i would guess that is what this does. Bottom line is it must have a negative out from the time the remote start flips the ignition on until the time it goes off. You need to diode isolate, that requires two diodes. Twist the ends with the band together and attach them to the wire on the remote start. The other ends of the diodes, one goes to the red keysense wire in the car and the other goes to the blue wire on the 555U. also, it's critical to get the ring on the 555U very tight and close to the front of the key cylinder as possible or you will have cold start issues...

So, i attach 1 side of the diode in the Ground out when running wire from remote starter, and the other side go to the keysense wire from the car? the 2 diode, 1 side of the diode connect to the yellow wire from the 555u and the other go to the keysense wire of the vehicle? so, it doesn't matter which side of the diode is for which side? and what kind of diode should i use? 1N4001?

Johnny, maybe my memory isn't what it used to be, but i don't think there's a yellow wire on the 555U. Isn't it red, black, and blue? You have the first diode right, not the second. The ends with the band will both go to the remote start, the other ends, doide 1/the keysense wire, diode 2/the trigger wire on the 555U(usually blue).

you comfusing me. Ok, My bypass transpoder is a crimestoper. there is THREE wires come from this bypass. RED, Black,and YELLOW. RED go to 12 V Constant. Black go to Ground out when running. Yellow wire, the Diagram for the bypass said keysense wire, and use the diode for it. so I wonder is this YELLOW wire go to the RED keysense from the vehicle with a diode.

Ok, so you don't have a 555U! The yellow wire on your Crimestopper bypass is gonna go to the wire that gives ground out whenever the remote start is on. I don't know what wire that is, i don't know what kind of starter you are installing so you need to figure that out yourself. It may be the wire you say the starter has that is supposed to go to keysense. This wire will need a diode in it, band towards the starter. At the same time, you need to run a wire from the red keysense in the car to the same wire on your starter. This wire will need a diode also, band towards the starter. I've explained it every way i know how, good luck!
