i am installing an eclpse nav system , looking for the vss wire fo a 2006 mercury milan

any help will be appriciated

Just about everything for an alarm comes off the Smart Juctin Box but if all else fails why dont you just go behind the speedometer.

I don't believe there is one! Just like the Freestyle and 500, DEI says it doesn't exist, all data. On the other hand, they say that about the mustang and we've located one on the ECM under the hood. Another alternative is to go to any wheel sensor wire you can find for ABS. This will give you the pulse needed. I've gone this route before on a new caravan. If all else fails, you will need to add a pulse generator....
