Printer Friendly Forum Posts - Found 2006 Chrysler 300 VSS Wire

Hello everyone, not sure if anyone needs this info but maybe might help someone from going crazy! First off everyone in the group has been so good with this a week or so back I placed a new topic about my 2006 Chrysler 300 and I couldnt locate the VSS wire for my new pioneer avic n2. With all the help i got the end story is I had to purchase a canpulse 2 from soundgate. It turns out after all of that, the install of the canpulse not working.... I went into the passenger side engine compartment. in there was a bolt that I undid and found a panel that I pulled out with bunch of connectors. I guess its the PCM BUT WHO KNOWS! in the first connector from the left I peeled back the black tape and found many many wires, Tapped into the green and brown striped wire and IT WORKED!!! No can pulse needed!. I was told that the Chryslers are CANBUS and there for it is digital pulse.... Not the case! once again I own a 2006 chrysler 300. Let me know if anyone needs pictures of where the wire is would be happy to help!
