does anyone have a sugestion of routing a power cable from battery through firewall to subwoofer?

Follow the speedometer cable, it has a big grommett....

go to your nearest mobile electronics retailer and ask them for the right size grommet you need to the gauge of wire you have. then just drill a hole in your firewall and stick the grommet in
