My dad just bought an 05 GTO and I want to put a remote start in it for him . I have some info on it but I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of anit-theft system it has for the ignition and what interface I'd need ? Any other info anyone may have on doing a remote start on this car would be helpful too . It's an 05 Pontiac GTO with a manual trans .

Get your 12volts at the fuse box, not the ign. harness. NO info on the bypass.

PLEASE.....get a remote start that is designed for a manual trans.

I plan getting a compustar unit cause they have the safety features for manual trans built into them . Thanks for the info .
