So I have read in here and researched at local stores for the best way to install a aftermarket deck in my Alero.

I am aware of three different harnesses;

one comes with a chime built in;

one comes as a complete new harness with airbag sensors etc..

and one is a relocation harness....

So now that I am completely confused about this, is there a recommended harness to use that is not going to set my airbags off, or turn my dash lights off etc.?

Are any of these 'plug n play' so to speak?

Or should I keep my original configuration of high levl out converters off the factory deck?

  Use the one with the door chime speaker built in. These interfaces keep the vehicle data-bus intact and supplys the installer with an accessory wire that will do the "retained accessory power". There is not a switched 12v wire in the dash for you to use.
