      Hi there

I have a 97 dodge ram 1500 that i am installing an alert 750r-LCD alarm system in. I am wanting to use the two step unlock in the truck. the manual tells me to go into the drivers door and cut the unlock wire on the solenoid, but isn't there some sort of relay or module in the truck that i can get the wire from??? if so what colors and where? also wondering the same with the windows??? I looked at the door jamb boot and it looks like a near impossibility to sqeeze one wire through it let alone five wires also went down to radio shack to pick up diodes for the install and wound up buying zener diodes for the install part # INT4742A-12 volt/ current 21mA / max power diss 1.0W . will these work for isolating a dual radar sensor/ from alarms factory shock sensor and shared pin switches? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for replying but after a few hours of head scratching I found a way to run the wires into the drivers door.which worked out well for the windows too.
