I am searching for information on where to find a tech signal on a 1996 cavalier. The coil is behind the engine, and I can't find the wires leading to it. Is there an alternate source to get a tech signal? The manual says at a negative side of fuel injector. Anyone have info on the wire color I should be looking for from that?  Or where these coil wires are. If I can find the wires going to the coil, I can connect from there. Also, under the dashboard, I can only find one red 12Volt wire, to power the remote start module. Should there be a second red wire, I know there is on the lumina, and caravan. tach is usually white or you can use any injector{odd color wire} look at 2 injectors and use the odd color.

and most do have 2 powers  red,red or red ,pink/black
