I'm having difficulty finding a good hole to run 1/0 cable from the engine to my trunk, i couldn't find a good spot and all the locations where i could peel the rubber from and hit firewall look dangerous to drill through to the other side from.  i'd really like to run the cable down the middle of the car under the carpet so i can run rcas and speaker cables along the sides

can somone please point out a good place to drill or a good factory gromet? i couldn't find the main wireharness either on the drivers side!

If it is an automatic, drill your hole where the clutch master cylinder would normally go

what about the throttle cable hole? or maybe somewhere around the steering?

run it under the car.  so much easier, and no bulge in your carpet!  just find a good route (with brake lines works)  it is usually easier on a truck or car with a real frame, but it can be done on uni body cars.  then drill a hole under the rear seat, or in the trunk, and use a good grommit.

if you're worried about a bulge in the carpet, run all your wires under your door trim. run your power wire under whichever side of the car your battery's on, and run your rca's and other wires on the other side. if you run your power wires and sound wires that close together, you'll hear interference in your speakers.
