i have a 1975 mustang II and it only has an AM radio and one speaker stock, i wired in a pioneer HU in the glove box and put some more speakers in.  i thought i had found a constant 12volt wire for the wire that always needs power so all my presets and setting would save.  well the wire i found loses power when the engine cranks and i loose all my settings. what should i tap into that doesnt loose power?  i need a diagram for this car also

thanks

mike

At the fuse panel by the driver's foot well you will need to meter one of the connectors there. The Mustang that I did, I had found a constant wire there without a problem.

Try testing the wire off the cigarette lighter. They are usually a battery feed. The factory used to use the same circuit for their radio memory.
