Hello,

Does anyone know who sells the GM Harness for an 03 RDS radio set. I was told it has to be kept as a remote in order for the car/truck to work.

Contact https://www.metraonline.com for a new harness that will interface with the OEM system so you can remove the OEM radio without having to relocate the stereo. I am not sure if the 2003 S-10 is in the list of vehicles, but you can ask their sales support if the new harness works.
