There is an error in the speaker size database for these trucks. The correct speaker size should be:

Front: 6" Round (6.5" will fit, hole needs to be enlarged)
Rear: 5x7"/6x8" Oval

I have a 1994, and I installed Kicker Impulse 6.5" speakers in the front doors, just had to cut 1/4" around the hole out, and redrill the holes for the screws.
