01 chevy Suburban power window wiring

I'm trying to install window roll up modules on a 2001 suburban. I tested all the wires at the drivers door switch and now I'm confused. Only the drivers window rests at negative, the wires are then positive when the switch is triggered. The other 3 doors rest at positive, and the wires are then negative when the switch is triggered. The modules I have are for reversal rest at ground. All the diagrams I have say that a suburban should be reversal rest at ground. Somebody help me, explain whats going on.

you have to test and right down what possitive signal wire controls what and what window

each window has 2 wires when one wire shows 12 volts the other shows neg. what your looking is for the pos 12 volts so do this ..

if you have a dmm
take the neg lead and ground it with a clip or something

take the possitive lead and check each wire make sure it shows 12 volts. then you know the ground and all is good\

then take a peice of paper and right down the following.
drivers door
up pos
down pos

drivers rear
up pos
down pos

pass front
up pos
down pos

pass rear
up pos
down pos

than fillin the blanks

the way it works is this take the drivers door and find the up possition possitive wire write it down
than find the drivers door down possition possitive wire

now when you are moving window up wire ? will show possitive and naturally the down wire will rest at ground and vise versa for goin in the down possition. just right down all the wire colors or mark them. or you may have to go into each door if there is some type of data system. and attach to the window motor. you would be required to run two large guage wire and two normal guage wire into each door if using a dei 530t or 529t

mecp certification is not always needed. I have it and it has not helped me out at all. my experience out shines it.

On the master switch, on the drivers door the wiring is all ass backwards. I tested all the window wiring at the drivers door switch and here's what I found.

drivers front
up - Dark blue,neg at rest, pos when switch is pressed
dn - dark brown,neg at rest, pos when switch is pressed


drivers rear
up - dark green,pos at rest, neg when switch is pressed
dn - purple,pos at rest, neg when switch is pressed

pass front
up - light blue,pos at rest, neg when switch is pressed
dn - tan,pos at rest, neg when switch is pressed
pass rear
up - light green,pos at rest, neg when switch is pressed
dn- purple,pos at rest, neg when switch is pressed


The switches on the other 3 doors have the colors as mentioned above PLUS each switch has a dark blue and brown which go from the switch to the motor. These wires do rest at ground just like the dark blue/brown on the drivers window. Does that mean I'm gonna have to run wires to each door to get the window modules to work right? I'd have to cut the two motor wires in each door and extend each(making it 4 wires to extend) and run 4 wires from each door up to the dash. Is there any way around this? and is this safe? Could I possibly wire up relays or something to the drivers switch to make it work?
