Does anyone know if I can access the tach signal for a 1999 Dodge durango at the instrument cluster connector instead of going to the engine area to find it. I'm sure I've done this before, but I can't find my notes for the wire color. Thanks.

You could but I personally don't reccomend it. Its easier to just tap it at a engine coil. Saves time an frustration of trying to find it. Plus its a million other wires at the cluster that could give off a similar signal just like tach.
