I have a 2002 F150 Harley Davidson edition Super crew and i jus installed a sony xav-7w, and im a COMPLETE newbie on the whole mobile electronics scene. I wanna know where i can 'ground' the parking brake wire to so that i can watch movies while driving. At first, i thought it was jus anything metal, then i realized it had to be part of the chasis....or anything with -12v i think...

Can someone explain exactly what this means and where a good place to ground THAT wire would be (its just behind the dash right now) AND also, under the passenger seat is gonna be the DVD player itself and i beleive i need another ground wire for that. Thanks in advance for the help!!

That wire is just a safety wire that is supose to be hooked up the parking brake wire.  I just ran mine straight to ground.  Or you can run it to a toggle switch and then to ground so you can turn the screen off. (if you want) A couple of good places to find a ground is in the kickpanels, in the dash somewhere,or just run a wire straight to the battery.  Hope your install goes well. i have the Clarion VRX925VD.  Run the wire straight to ground and that will solve your problem.  Good luck.  Brian
