Hi everybody out there, I'm posting because I've been looking for wiring diagrams for heavy trucks with no results at all; what we're doing is installing GPS locators/paralizers and we need to interrupt ignition through a SPTD relay, we've done this before on several sterling acterra 7500 heavy trucks, and from the ignition switch there are 5 light red wires so we had to get the ignition (came to be 2 besides acc) using a voltmeter, there are printed codes for each wire (don't remember the numbers, I'm at home righ now), eversince there were 7 trucks we had to install, the first one was the problem, but now we're to install several kodiak (12 volts) kenworth, freighliner, and so, small cars and light trucks, we've been getting info from the usual links, but no info on heavy trucks.

any help will be great, thanks in advance

Well, we're to install several chevrolet kodiaks next week, models rangin from 2000 to 2006, here in Mexico, only heavy trucks 17500+ pounds are sold; we're about to close a deal to get Keenworth, Volvo, Mercedez, Freightliner, Dina, (mexican make), also rangin from 2000 to 2007, and some other brands serviced.

What we are doing is to install locating devices using gps for location and data transmission via GPRS, the device (voltage from 10 to 32v atoregulated),has the capabilities of to paralize the vehicle (using relays), door unlocking, horn activation, and some other features, we've been succesfull on instaling on smaller vehicles using the guides provided in this site, on the other hand not to much info on heavy trucks in here or somewhere else; when installed to cooled trailers, no big deal, because there is a 12v battery and the required power is obtained from there.

Is there any website as this one for heavy trucks or 24 volts?

we need as possible, to obtain info on ignition1 wire for different trucks; (on the 2005 sterling acterra 7500 assambled in Mexico Santiago Tianguistengo plant; we found there is ignition 1, 1A006a; ignition 2,1a006B; starter 1A0061; 12v constant 1A006A; acc 1a006 all wires same color, each wire with listed numbers on silver prints lower and uppercase as listed), ignition switch left side of steering column, ford plastic tag, no harness at sight but the black one at the key mechanism freighliner marked.

also about horn wire and polarity (on the same truck steering column black 12v+ when ignition or acc, gray horn 12v+), Freighliner tag, black 12 pin harness.

any help will be great, thanks in advance.
