i just installed a alpine headunit into my car. everything turns on but there is no sound. i used the wiring harness kit. it has the bose speakers in it with an amp on each speaker. i am guessing that i dont have power going to those amps. there are 2 wiring out of the factory plug side that are not being used. they are black with pink rings.

Theres a few things you could try. The first would be to make sure you have the blue/white wire hooked up from the radio to the blue or blue/white wire on the aftermarket harness. If that still doesn't work you'll have to get a wire harness kit that's meant for amp integration. The last option would be an amp bypass on all four speakers and make sure those speakers arent on a 1 ohm impedance as you will ruin your alpine if they are. Good luck posted_image

I find most Bose speakers are usually 2ohm, but still not reccomeneded to use with an aftermarket deck. On some older GMs I have measured 1 ohm on bose however.

You don't need an amp integrator for that model, it uses the same harness..like stated above, check the remote turn on.

If the original unit played you know the bose amps/speakers are good.
