Which ACC wiring is better to power up a 12 volt back up camera? There are two ACC's, the one with brown by the driver dash is the closest one and mostly unobstructed. Can I splice into the 14/16 gauges. The cam wiring is rail thin at 22 gauges. Anyone?

Splice away....the brown one will be fine.

The brown wire is actually the accessory wire for the truck. You can use it but be sure to put a inline fuse close to the connection into the wire. You could also use the light green reverse wire for power. It goes to 12 volts + when in reverse. You can find it in a plug in the convenience center under the drivers side dash next to the kick panel on the firewall.
