I am looking for remote start wiring info. for 2006 Nissan Sentra. Is it the same as the 2004 model listed. Also I have noticed that alot of the remote start suppliers say that this car requires an immobilizer bypass. This car does not have an immobilizer. I am looking to install a Design Tech 25522 Pro Series Car Starter so I can still use the factory remote.
How do you know the vehicle has no imobilizer?
Do you have a standard steel key (with no black plastic on it) ?

I am a nissan master technician. Most sentras do not have immobilizers. Only models with 2.5l engines. SER And SPEC v models. The easiest way to check if it has one is to pull off the plastic trim ring on the key cylinder and look for the antenna. I checked the wiring diagram for the starting system for 2005 and 2006, they are the same. The part that is confusing me is the starter and second starter wires. They show starter as BLACK/ white and second starter as BLACK / YELLOW. According to the chart they should both be in the ignition harness. The wiring diagram I am looking at shows the BLACK/ white wire in the ignition harness and the BLACK/ yellow wire coming out of the park neutral relay under the hood. On my diagram it shows BLACK/ white wire is source power to park/neutral relay , it powers up in start from the ignition switch. Then I have a GREEN / WHITE wire from a fuse in the interior fuse box that is powered in run or start that sends power to the coil on the relay. So it seems to me that I would want to take the starter wire from the remote start and connect it to 2 relays. One to power the BLACK/ white wire that will turn the starter and one that will power the GREEN / WHITE wire to energize the relay and close the switch so the power can get to the starter. Now there is a BLACK/ yellow wire that comes off the relay to the starter but that is in the right front corner under the hood. If I were to connect to that wire it seems that I could use just that 1 wire and not have to wire the relays. Of course I would have to run another wire under the hood.
Ok I think I found the answer. Coming from the ignition switch there is another BLACK / YELLOW wire that powers fuses for the fuel pump and injectors.
