I am wanting to know where the factory keyless entry module is located. I want to interrupt the ignition input to it during remote start so the customer can still use the factory keyless to lock and unlock the doors.

doorlock module is inside driver's door

I was wondering if you did this & did it work properly?

I did a 2002 Passat recently & got the locks working on my remote, didn't do the rear hatch.

But it would be easier for the customer to carry only one remote attached to the key.
