I'm installing a remote starter in a 2006 Sebring convertable usin ga 457C (as suggested by DEI) and I can't make the 457C work. First of all, the wire at pin 2 of the diagnostic harness was purple / YELLOW, not ORANGE / black like the instructions said it would be. When I connected it I got the three horn honks indicating it had programmed properly, but the trunk release is the only feature that works. It doesn't operate the door locks or factory alarm. I've tried resetting the module a couple times and after I reconnect it I always get the three honks but no functionality.

Sometimes Pin 2 is Purple / YELLOW or WHITE/ Violet instead of ORANGE / Black ie 02 Caravan or Light Blue/Violet like 03 Ram.

For testing, have you tried sending a ground pulse manually to the lock/unlock inputs of the 457C?

To control locks in listed vehicles, you MUST tie into the door lock OR FAA/FAD wire of the vehicle. If it does NOT have factory security you will tie the Analog 3 wire (Pink/Black) to the lock/unlock wire in the vehicle. If it DOES have factory security, you will tie the Analog 2 wire (Pink) to the FAA/FAD wire in the vehicle.

The Brown wire on Connector 2 is only used for arming the factory alarm in the Liberty.
