I'm installing a remote start system in a 2005 4 runner v6 and the remote start works from the factory keyless entry but when in remote start mode the keyless entry does not work? Any ideas on how to get the door fobs to work while in remote start mode?

There are no fewer than a couple dozen, (maybe more) posts on this topic.....the answer is NO, ou cannot use the factory transmitter while the rig is running. In my opinion, one of a few flaws in using a factory transmitter. Do a search....you'll see what I mean.
