I'm installing a Scytek Galaxy 5000RS-M on a 2000 Protege LX, and I am having a bit of trouble with the Door locks.  Does anyone have a wiring color chart for this DLS?  The Car requires a negative pulse to unlock the vehicle, and a negative pulse through a 1.5K resistor to the same wire to lock the vehicle.  However, this DLS seems to only be giving me a 12v positive pulse.  Is this DLS going to do it for me, or am I missing something?

The wiring info you have is correct.....there is a door lock relay to the left of the steering column. When you push unlock on the door it will give you a negative pulse. You will also have to use a relay to make the alarm lock and unlock the doors.

That's just it.  I don't have any wiring diagrams for the DLS.  So, while I know what I need (negative pulse), I am not getting it.  Can someone supply me with the color coding on the Scytek DLS?

Got to be a little more clear on what you are trying to find, couldn't tell what if you were having a problem with the car, or the system.
Go to scytek.net, you can find manuals there.

Scytek does not have the manual for the car.  I'll try to make it real simple.  I am installing the alarm on a car that already has automatic door locks.  I am trying to get the alarm to work with the door locks, so that I don't need two remotes.  I need to hook up the wiring so that when I press the disarm button on the alarm remote that it unlocks the doors, and when I press the arm it locks them.

The alarm has an unlock output (-) 500mA (Blue), and a lock output (-) 500mA (Green).  What I need to know is, how to use the DLS to get a unlock output (negative), and lock output (negative through 1.5k).  Here is the way its connnected now:

DLS:

Black: Ground

Red: 12v positive

Green: lock output (-) 500mA (Green) on the alarm

Blue: unlock output (-) 500mA (Blue) on the alarm

White: light GREEN/ red car door lock wire. on the car

When I press the disarm/arm on the remote you can actually feel the DLS working its magic, but the output on that white wire is always a 12v positive pulse.   There is a little LED and a button on the box, but it doesn't seem to change anything and if that is for programming, no instructions were given.

Ok so if that wasn't clear, my problem is with the DLS not outputting the right signals.  I need to know if (1) my wiring is incorrect, (2) if the DLS needs to be programmed to output the correct signal, or (3) I need some additional parts to invert the signal, but then again what is the point of the DLS if that is the case.

alright....your alarm probably has the capability of doing either positive or negative door locks. Its probably sending a positive, because you do not have it hooked up right.Disconnect your alarm wires from the lock/unlock of the car, then test the lock wires of the alarm, the blue should send a neg when you lock, and the green should send a neg when you lock. If they are sending a negative pulse, then this is what you need to do.On mazdas, i use two relays, although it can be done with one.
86 on both relays need 12v
87 on both need ground
lock relay...85 green wire from alarm
30 out to door lock wire on vehicle.
unlock relay...85 blue from alarm
30   1.5 resistor to lock wire on vehicle.
Not sure what you are doing with the white wire, according to all the other 5000 series, that is your parklight wire.....i could be wrong.

Problem resolved!

I called Scytek.  I needed to put the DLS in learn mode by holding the learn button on the unit until the LED began blinking.  Then while holding the unlock button on the car door, press the learn button again.  Then while holding the lock button press the learn button a third time.  This fixed my problem!  Thanks for all of your help.
