I need specific info on the wiring of the Monsoon sound system in my 2006 Pontiac G6 GTP. The manual says it has 8 amplified speakers and I only know of six and I do not know where the amp is located.

Thanks

steve

the monsoon systems are probably the least forgiving to integrate with.  changing the head unit is fine but changing the speakers requires modification to the aftermarket speakers or a new headunit as well.  they do have 8 channel output amps.  the speakers are as follows:

front mids are in the doors, tweeters in the mirror trim

rear mids are usually in the rear deck sometimes with tweeters directly beside them
