NOTE: This vehicle is equipped with the pass-key III immobilizer. Use DEI part number 555G or 555U to bypass during remote start mode. Use the lt. green (-) key sense wire at the steering column to interrupt the blue wire on the 555U so that when the key is inserted to do take over the vehicle does not see two transponders at the same time. Refer to directfax document #1079 for wiring information. *1 To avoid the domelight delay use tan for the drivers door, blue for the passenger door and the liftgate, and orange for the sliding doors. All wires are negative trigger, located at the BCM and all need to be diode isolated from each other. *2 This wire is only activated when the wipers are in the high/fast position. There is not a wire for the low setting. *3 The door lock wires will only meter when turning the key in either door key cylinder. Also have to program the door lock pulse duration for 3.5 seconds to unlock the doors. On vehicles without the factory alarm, use lt. blue for lock and white for unlock. Find the wires in either kick panel. *4 To disarm the factory alarm without unlocking the doors, use a 0.8 second pulse on the unlock wire. *5 The ignition coil pack is on the top of the engine on the passenger side. The PCM is in the air cleaner assembly on the front of the engine compartment on the driver side, the wire is in the blue plug in pin 8. *6 The driver side power sliding door is lt. blue/black (-) in the driver kick panel in the harness going to the rear. The passenger side power sliding door is lt. blue (-) in the passenger kick panel in the harness going to the rear. -------------

NOTE: Chrysler vehicles that use a gray ignition key have an immobilizer system that needs to be bypassed when remote starting. Use DEI part number 555C or 555U. *1 Lock requires a negative trigger thru a 820 ohm resistor. Unlock requires a negative trigger thru a 330 ohm resistor. MUST use relays. *2 Parking lights require a negative trigger thru a 330 or 1.4K ohm resistor. Headlights require a negative trigger thru a 1.8K ohm resistor. There is a rest resistance on the wire, so MUST use a relay to isolate away from the switch. *3 The LF door trigger is tan, and the LR door is tan/orange or PURPLE / orange. These wires are in the driver kick panel. The RF door trigger is tan/red, and the RR door is tan / YELLOW. These wires are in the passenger kick panel. Use all wires and diode isolate each. See directfax document #1076 for wiring information. *4 This will also do door locks. Arm/lock is negative trigger thru a 2K ohm resistor. Disarm/unlock is negative trigger thru a 480 ohm resistor. Single pulse will do disarm without unlocking the doors. Unlock requires a double pulse. MUST use relays. *5 The PCM (Powertrain Control Module) is on the passenger side firewall. *6 The amplifier is located behind the glove box. *7 These wires may not be necessary for remote start. *8 Diesel tach wire use gray/black in the black plug at the PCM. ------------- Luis
